Where to watch early seasons of The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead series is in its eleventh and final season. As fans wait for the final eight episodes to premiere this fall many are rewatching the series in its entirety. Many fans have purchased the DVD collections as they contain great behind-the-scenes content and often unique collectibles. But what about those who don’t like to clutter their lives with physical copies? Where can they stream the earliest seasons of the series?
The only streaming service that has seasons 1-10 of The Walking Dead available with your subscription is Netflix. AMC has been releasing each season on Netflix about a month ahead of the next season’s premiere, giving fans time to catch up or rewatch the previous season in preparation for the upcoming one.
If you don’t have Netflix, purchasing each season via Prime Video is an alternative. They run as low as $9.99 for season 1 up to $40.00 for later seasons, more if you purchase in HD.
The Walking Dead season 11 on Netflix
Many fans are curious if AMC will release the first 16 episodes of season 11 on Netflix before the final eight episodes premiere this fall. It is doubtful that this will happen. AMC has never broken up the series for streaming, releasing mid-season.
A prime example of this is the Netflix release of season 10. AMC didn’t release 10A and B until after the episode of the bonus episodes of 10C were aired. The entirety of season 10 was released on Netflix on July 26, 2021, about one month ahead of the season 11 premiere date.
If you want to view season 11 episodes 1-16, this will have to be done via an AMC+ subscription.
The Walking Dead season 11 part 3
AMC will begin airing the final eight episodes of The Walking Dead series on October 2, 2022, at 9 p.m. On this date, AMC+ will premiere episodes 17 and 18 of season 11.

1118 “A New Deal” – October 9 – Carol makes a deal with Pamela to wipe the slate clean on behalf of her friends. Aaron, Jerry, Lydia and Elijah get on the road to Oceanside to fill them in on a plan. The Commonwealth celebrates Founders Day. Directed by Jeffrey F. January and written by Corey Reed and Kevin Deiboldt.

1120 “What’s Been Lost” – October 23
1121 “Outpost 22” – October 30
1122 “Faith” – November 6
