AMC aired The Walking Dead series’ final episode on November 20, 2022. This concludes the flagship series, whose legacy will be carried on with the development of several spinoff series, the first of which doesn’t premiere until April 2023. Will AMC air previous episodes of The Walking Dead tonight?

Unfortunately, AMC will not be airing any Walking Dead episodes tonight. The network is in full Christmas mode with several classics airing today, including National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, White Christmas, and many more.

If you want to watch some Walking Dead content, Netflix currently has seasons 1-10 available to stream with your subscription. The eleventh and final season is available on AMC Networks subscription service AMC+.

The Walking Dead universe

Fear the Walking Dead is the first spinoff of the main series, and seasons 1-6 can be viewed on Hulu, while the seventh and most recent season can be seen on AMC+. This series is currently filming its eighth season in Savannah, Georgia, that will release sometime in 2023.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond is the second spinoff series, a coming-of-age story set in the same world. This series shows a group of kids who have grown up in the apocalypse and must learn how to survive outside the walls they have been sheltered in their whole lives. This series’ second season takes an in-depth look into the CRM (Civic Republic Military.) Set as a limited series, this show has two seasons available on AMC+.

In the Summer of 2022, the third spinoff, Tales of the Walking Dead, was released. This anthology series features new characters in different locations around the United States. Each story is standalone, and this series can be enjoyed even if you have never watched an episode of The Walking Dead. Season one of this series is available on AMC+.

The Walking Dead: Dead City will premiere on AMC in April 2023 and follows Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) on an adventure to Manhattan. The recent teaser trailer shows that this series will look much different than the flagship.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will feature Norman Reedus’ character Daryl in France as he encounters the French variant walkers and a religious group. This series is currently filming in France.

The Walking Dead: Rick and Michonne will feature the titular characters, once again portrayed by Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira. This series is in pre-production, with filing reportedly beginning in January 2023.
