Fear the Walking Dead’s Karen David in When Christmas was Young

Karen David, known for her role as Grace on Fear the Walking Dead, is now starring in a heartwarming holiday movie, When Christmas Was Young, that premiered on CBS on December 18.
When Christmas Was Young will quickly become a new holiday favorite that was executive produced by singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow, who also wrote the title song.
Set in Nashville, the film sees David portray Melody Douglass, a single mother who set aside her dreams of becoming a singer-songwriter to focus on her responsibility of raising her child. Tyler Hilton plays Luke Dawson, a pushy music manager who needs a hit song for his only remaining client, who wants a song written by Melody, who doesn’t want to turn over the rights.
The movie premiered on CBS and is now streaming on Paramount+. Check out the trailer below.
Karen David – Fear the Walking Dead and more
David is set to return to Fear the Walking Dead as this series is currently filming its eighth season in Savannah, Georgia. Things will significantly change for the survivors as they seek a new location away from the nuclear wasteland of Texas. Grace is unaware that PADRE has taken Mo, the child she and Morgan adopted, as their own.
Next, David will star as the lead in a drama, Isabel’s Garden, written and directed by Katherine Rich in her feature film debut. This movie tells of Maya (David), a workaholic whose life is drastically altered when she loses a loved one to an accident.
She is also well known for her role as Sharon Lucado in Barry, Jasmine in Once Upon a Time, and Princess Isabella in Galavant.
