Singer-Songwriter Adele is a big fan of The Walking Dead and has been since the beginning. PureWow reported that during her November 19, 2022, show, just days ahead of The Walking Dead series finale, “Rest in Peace,” Adele talked about Walking Dead, World Cup, and more excitement with the audience.

During one of her Weekends with Adele shows that are held at Colosseum in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Adele asked the crowd if there were any Walking Dead fans amongst them. The response shocked the singer, who was unaware there would be so many fans in the audience.

"Oh! I thought this was going to be a stiffer crowd than that. I’ve been obsessed with The Walking Dead for like over a decade, and on Sunday it’s all coming to an end."

She went on to tell them that she has been obsessed with the series for over a decade. This revealed that she is a fan and has been watching this series since it began on Halloween night in 2010.

The singer had an exciting week as she explained to the crowd that not only was it the finale of The Walking Dead, but it was also Grammy nomination week and the World Cup, stating, “f***ing hell, there’s a lot going on!”

Adele has been nominated for seven Grammy’s this year, including Album of the Year for 30, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year for “Easy on Me.”

Adele is obsessed with The Walking Dead

Fans of The Walking Dead can understand the singer’s obsession with the series. Many die-hard fans have been watching since the pilot, with others coming in during later seasons, but that hasn’t diminished their own obsession.

The series ran for 12 years, 11 seasons over 177 episodes, and has spawned The Walking Dead universe. The flagship series may have concluded, but the fandom will live on via several spinoff series, including The Walking Dead: Dead City, which will premiere on AMC in April 2023.
