Walking Dead’s Margot Bingham in New Amsterdam now streaming Netflix

Actress and singer-songwriter Margot Bingham has an impressive list of roles to her name. She portrayed Max in season 11 of The Walking Dead and played a vital role in the takedown of the Commonwealth. Many fans may not know that Bingham starred in New Amsterdam, a medical drama on NBC.
New Amsterdam, created by David Schulner, and known for his work on Desperate Housewives and Reverie, is based on Eric Manhaimer’s book Twelve Patients: Life and Death at Bellevue Hospital. The series premiered in Sept. 2018 and will air its final episode on Jan. 17, 2023.
Bingham portrayed Director Evie Garrison during seasons 1-3 of the series. Evie was the Associate Director of the Legal Department of one of the United States’ oldest public hospitals, New Amsterdam Medical Center.
The series also stars Ryan Eggold, Freema Agyeman, Janet Montgomery, Jocko Sims, Anupam Kher, Tyler Labine, and Sandra Mae Frank.

What else does Margot Bingham star in?
Bingham is well known for her role as Daughter Maitland, a jazz singer, in the HBO period drama Boardwalk Empire. She also had lead roles in The Family, Matador, She’s Gotta Have It, and One Dollar. She can also be seen in Blue Bloods and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
She stars in Leopard Skin with fellow Walking Dead actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan on TWD). This series can be viewed on Peacock.

While most fans know of her acting skills, many may not know that she is also an accomplished singer. She appeared in an off-broadway revival of Rent.
