Even die-hard fans of The Walking Dead will admit the series has its share of cringe-worthy moments. The series ran for 11 seasons, so it would be challenging to avoid moments that just didn’t sit right with fans. You know, the scenes that cause involuntary eye roles and exclamations at what is being viewed.

Below is a list of the top 5 moments of The Walking Dead series that made fans cringe. This list isn’t comprised of gory scenes or death scenes but those that were so absurd you couldn’t believe your eyes.

Some of these scenes are forever burned into your memory, and you wish there was a way to delete the images from your mind.

The Walking Dead cringy moments

5. Anytime Beth sang. This isn’t to bash the musical talents of Emily Kinney, who portrayed Beth in the series. The actress is a great singer-songwriter, but the moments that Beth broke out into song made fans cringe because it was so awkward.

4. Daryl and Beth’s cabin. While at the cabin, Daryl and Beth share significant moments, and this storyline reveals Daryl’s emotional side. Then they burn down and flip off the cabin, which proceeds to negate anything positive that occurred in the story. It was a strange addition to a story that could have been amazing.

3. CGI Deer. The Walking Dead series does a fantastic job with SFX, except for that CGI deer featured in season 7. The entire fandom couldn’t believe their eyes. It would be later revealed that the deer wasn’t CGI, but it was filmed elsewhere and then added in. Regardless, it was awful.

2. Pamela and Lance. In season 11, fans were introduced to the Commonwealth leaders Pamela Milton (Laila Robins)  and Lance Hornsby (Josh Hamilton). The pair had known one another for most of their lives, and it would be discovered that they had some type of strange relationship. Two scenes featured the pair as Pamela touched him, and his reaction was shocking and cringy and left no doubt about his feelings for her.

1. Negan and Alpha. You remember the scene when Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) only wore socks and Alpha (Samantha Morton) only her Whisperer mask. This has to be the most cringy, where’s the eye bleach scene of the entire 11 seasons.
