Also, in 2005, Poésy was cast as Fleur Delacour in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. She would reprise this role for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2. She is well known for her role as Eva Coupeau in the series Gossip Girl, Isabella in Birdsong, and Barbara in Tenet.
She also starred in The Essex Serpent with fellow Walking Dead universe actor Frank Dillane (Nick on Fear the Walking Dead), Tom Hiddleston, and Claire Danes.
Daryl Dixon spinoff casts Clémence Poésy
In November 2022, Deadline reported that Clémence Poésy and Adam Nagaitis were cast in The Walking Dead spinoff set in France, featuring Daryl Dixon, who Norman Reedus has portrayed since 2010.
Isabelle, played by Poésy, is part of a resistance network called The Union of Hope which bring in people from all faiths to try and rebuild some semblance of faith. They believe they are being tested and can overcome the world they find themselves in. The group she belongs to are well prepared with a well-stocked arsenal, as seen in the clip below.
Daryl encounters this group and they believe he is a messenger sent to take Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi) to his destiny of becoming the one who leads the revival of humanity.
The series has been renewed for a second season and due to an agreement between AMC and SAG/AFTRA, production can resume in France.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon airs on Sunday on AMC+ beginning at 3 a.m. ET and AMC at 9 p.m. ET.
