Nicolas Cantu portrayed Elton on The Walking Dead spinoff series The Walking Dead: World Beyond. This series was a limited two-season show that was a coming-of-age series highlighting the mysterious CRM (Civic Republic Military). Cantu is well known for his voice acting in several series. It was recently announced that he was cast as the voice of Leonardo in the computer-animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.
The film is the feature directorial debut by Jeff Rowe, known for his work on Netflix’s original movie The Mitchells vs. the Machines. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is based on the comic characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird with a screenplay by Brendan O’Brien.
The story follows the turtle brothers, Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael, who just want to be accepted as regular teenagers while they come against an army of mutants and notorious criminals.
Cantu will voice Leonardo with Micah Abbey as Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr as Michelangelo, and Brady Noon as Raphael. Other voice talents include Jackie Chan, Ayo Edebiri, Seth Rogen, John Cena, Hannibal Buress, Rose Byrne, Ice Cube, Post Malone, Paul Rudd, Maya Rudolph, Natasia Demetriou, and Giancarlo Esposito.
TMNT: Mutant Mayhem is scheduled for release on August 4, 2023.

Cantu is well known for his many voice roles in the Dragons: Rescue Riders series of movies, Kid Cosmis, Family Guy, Oddballs, Lego Star Wars: All-Stars & The Freemakers Adventures, Sofia the First, and more.
He recently starred in Steven Spielberg’s The Fabelmans. He played Hark alongside fellow Walking Dead universe actor Cooper Dodson (Dylan in Fear TWD), who played Turkey. Both boys were fellow Boy Scout friends of Sammy’s (Gabriel LaBelle) and helped him create his films.
