Norman Reedus & Greg Nicotero to open 4th Nic & Norman’s this summer
By Renee Hansen
Actor Norman Reedus and director and SFX guru Greg Nicotero are well-known in The Walking Dead world for their dedication to the ever-expanding universe. One of the other ventures the duo is well known for is their chain of restaurants, Nic & Norman’s Restaurants.
The news site Wave reports that the popular restaurant chain’s fourth location will be in Louisville, Kentucky, at 108 West Washington Street in the historic Whiskey Alley. The report states that the site will open in early June.
Louisville fans can enjoy the same type of atmosphere featured in the other three Nic & Norman locations, all housed in family-friendly environments. And contrary to what people may think, the restaurants aren’t walker (zombie) themed.
Reedus stated about the new location:
"Wow. So excited for this place to open. Thank you to the followers of the show and to the Nic & Norman’s family. Hope everyone enjoys the good food and the family atmosphere."
Norman Reedus and Greg Nicotero – Nic & Norman’s
Nic & Norman’s first location is in the heart of The Walking Dead world, Senoia, Georgia, in what was the site of the set of Woodbury, made famous in The Walking Dead series. Fans who venture to Senoia to visit filming locations and TWD-themed shops can’t pass up the opportunity to grab a bite at the restaurant filled with amazing photographs taken by Reedus, many of the photos feature the cast and crew of the series.
When the main series was filming, it wouldn’t be unheard of for fans to catch glimpses of TWD actors eating at the Senoia location, which was an added treat. This location recently received an update with patio seating as more space was needed to serve the customers.
The second location opened in Chattanooga, Tennesse, in 2021, the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo complex. The third location in Lexington, Kentucky, opened in 2022 and was reported to be co-owned by Cynthiana, Kentucky native, and Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman.
