Actor Norman Reedus has been extremely busy even though The Walking Dead concluded its storyline in November 2022. Since then, Reedus has kept himself busy with several other projects as well as his family duties. Now it appears that he and his fiancé Diane Kruger are enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

Reedus will continue the story of Daryl Dixon, a role he played on The Walking Dead since 2010, in a spinoff series set in France. Daryl will be washed ashore with no memory of how or why he is there. Reedus has expressed that this series will not be so much a continuation of the TWD story but more of a reboot. Daryl will encounter many new people on his adventures as well as the French variant walkers introduced in the coda scene of The Walking Dead: World Beyond spin-off series.

Reedus was also cast in a new film, The Bikeriders, with an impressive list of actors Jodie Comer, Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, Michael Shannon, Boyd Holbrook, Mike Faist, Damon Herriman, Emory Cohen, Happy Anderson, and Toby Wallace. Filming for this movie wrapped in December 2022.

Another project Reedus is tied to is the John Wick spinoff movie, Ballerina, which is set between John Wick 3 and 4. Additional cast for the film includes Ana de Armas, Anjelica Huston, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, and Catalina Sandino Moreno. It has also been announced that Keanu Reeves will make a cameo appearance in this film.

Is Norman Reedus done filming for the spinoff?

AMC has made no announcements about filming for the Daryl Dixon spinoff being complete, but it appears that Reedus has taken a break. He and Kruger posted cryptic photos on social media.

UPDATE: After the publication of this article it was announced that filming for the first six episodes of the Daryl Dixon series has wrapped.
