Fear the Walking Dead’s Garret Dillahunt in Showtime’s Ghosts of Beirut

Actor Garret Dillahunt is well known to fans of Fear the Walking Dead for his role as gunslinger John Dorie. Throughout his career, Dillahunt has had many memorable roles. Now Deadline reports he will star in Ghosts of Beirut.
Emmy-winning director Greg Barker, known for Manhunt: The Inside Story of the Hunt for Bin Laden, directs all four episodes with Daniel Dreifuss and creators Avi Issacharoff and Lior Raz as executive producers. Joëlle Touma, a Lebanese screenwriter, served as writer and co-executive producer with Padriac McKinley and Diane Becker.
Ghosts of Beirut is a spy drama based on the true story of an elusive Lebanese terrorist, Imad Mughniyeh, aka The Ghost, who outwitted the CIA and Mossad for over two decades. The limited series uses a narrative approach with deep journalistic research and documentary elements.
Dillahunt stars with Dina Shihabi, Dermot Mulroney, Iddo Goldberg, Hisham Suleiman, Amir Khoury, and Rafi Gavron. Ghost of Beirut will premiere on streaming and on-demand on May 19 for Showtime subscribers and debut on Showtime on May 21.
Dillahunt shared the news about his involvement on social media. He stated that filming occurred in Morocco and that he enjoyed playing spy games.

Recently Dillahunt starred in Ambulance, Where the Crawdads Sing, Blonde, and three episodes of Dead to Me. He also starred in a hilarious new series Sprung that aired on Freevee.
