Fear the Walking Dead actress Danay Garcia podcast season 2 in May

Actress, writer, producer, director, and podcast host Danay Garcia has said goodbye to her Fear the Walking Dead character Luciana as filming has been completed for the eighth and final season. Fans of the series will see the final chapter beginning May 14 on AMC. Another exciting event is happening for Garcia in May, the second season of The Danay Garcia Podcast. 

Garcia launched her podcast in 2020 during quarantine as a way of “helping people plant seeds for growth and happiness.” She has interviewed a wide variety of fascinating guests across a vast range of industries, including entertainment, education, art, science, health, non-profit, and business.

She has hosted several Walking Dead universe actors, including Fear the Walking Dead cast members, Rubén Blades (Daniel), Garret Dillahunt (John Dorie), Karen David (Grace), Colby Minifie (Virginia) and Daryl Mitchell (Wendell), and Walking Dead actor Steven Ogg (Simon).

Garcia portrayed Luciana in Fear the Walking Dead beginning in season 2 but has had many other notable roles during her career. She has starred in Prison Break, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Avenge the Crows, Baby Money, Spiked, and 50 States of Fright. 

She also wrote, directed, and produced a mid-lengthed film, “La Cura” (“The Cure”). In a small town in Mexico, a local pastor is forced to make an ethical decision when an unknown disease affects the residents. The film premiered on opening night at the Baja California International Film Festival. It was an official selection in the Chicago Independent Film Festival, YoFi Fest, Shorts Mexico Festival, SmartFilms Mexico Festival, and more.
