Fans of Norman Reedus know him as the crossbow-welding Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead. And they also know he is a motorcycle enthusiast, so much so that he convinced Walking Dead creators to allow Daryl to ride a bike in the series, and AMC created a motorcycle travel series, Ride with Norman Reedus, which Reedus hosts.  Now he has collaborated with d Indian Motorcycle and Powerplant Motorcycles to create a custom bike.

Indian Motorcycles posted a video (below) chronicling the story of how this particular bike came to be, introducing the creator Yaniv Evans, founder of Powerplant, and

Reedus shares that he loves the gas smell while riding a bike, does his best thinking and singing on the back of a bike, and just prefers two wheels. He talks about Yaniv’s creativity and how people know one of his bikes when they see it going down the street.

This bike is the first Indian that Reedus owns and has ridden. It is a bike he has always wanted to own. His expression on seeing the bike for the first time is pure joy. Throughout the process of creating the bike, he had only seen parts, and this was the first time he saw the completed masterpiece.

This video is part of Indian Motorcycle’s “Forged” series that looks at the industry’s best builders who turn the factory Sport Chief into unique creations. FMX icon Carey Hart hosts the series and takes viewers behind the scenes of the builds.
