What time is Fear the Walking Dead on May 21?
By Renee Hansen
Fear the Walking Dead set the bar high for the eighth and final season with an impressive first episode. Coming off a less-than-stellar seventh season, fans had high expectations for the season 8 premiere, and the creators delivered.
The episode titled “Remember What They Took From You” began soon after the season 7 finale with Madison (Kim Dickens) and Morgan’s (Lennie James) arrival at PADRE. The episode quickly advances seven years, and bits and pieces are given to viewers about PADRE and introduces an 8-year-old Mo (Zoey Merchant).
It was an action-packed episode that saw the return of Madison and Morgan, and also Grace (Karen David). This episode also revealed that Morgan doesn’t know what has happened to Daniel (Ruben Blades), Luciana (Danay Garcia), and Strand (Coleman Domingo).
Fear the Walking Dead season 1 episode 2 release date
AMC will air the second episode of season 8 of Fear the Walking Dead on May 21 at 9 p.m. ET. This episode is titled “Blue Jay” and is now available on AMC+. This episode was written by showrunners Andrew Chambliss & Ian Goldberg and directed by Heather Cappiello and will focus on June (Jenna Elfman).
She has escaped PADRE for her safety and to seek solitude. She meets a man named Adrian (Jonathan Medina), who is searching for his daughter, who was taken by PADRE. She will also have an unwelcome encounter with Dwight (Austin Amelio) and Sherry (Christine Evangelista).
AMC has released a sneak peek of this episode.
It appears that June is in no mood to make friends at this point. When June was last seen in season 7, she escaped with the others in the rafts as they fled Texas. She also cared for Charlie (Alexa Nisenson), who has likely died from radiation poisoning. She has experienced much loss and who knows what else during the past seven years.
