The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actor Michael Zegen also starred in season 2 of The Walking Dead. He played a character named Randall, who became a prisoner of Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln) group while they lived on Hershel’s (Scott Wilson) farm. For all five seasons, Zegen starred in Prime Video’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel series. What did the actor take from the set as a souvenir?
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is a period comedy-drama on Amazon Prime Video. The series finale episode recently aired on May 26. Created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, known for Gilmore Girls and Bunheads, the series is set in the ’50s and ’60s and follows a New York housewife who discovers her talent for stand-up comedy.
The series has received critical acclaim and has been nominated for and won numerous awards. Rotten Tomatoes has the series at a 90% overall rating.
Rachel Brosnahan plays Miriam “Midge” Maisel to Zegen’s Joel, her husband. Additional cast includes Alex Borstein, Marin Hinkle, Tony Shalhoub, Kevin Pollak, Caroline Aaron, Jane Lynch, and Luke Kirby. Other actors who have had recurring roles throughout the series include Zachary Levi, Sterling K. Brown, Cary Elwes, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Milo Ventimiglia, and Hank Azaria.

Entertainment Weekly got the scoop on what the cast members took from the set.
Zegen stated that he missed the fire sale at the end of the year but was able to attend the costume and prop sale, which allowed him to acquire a lot of Joel’s clothing items. He snagged a couple of suits and has several of Joel’s ties and shirts and a few coats. He stated, “Everything was tailored for me, so it’s like, how can I not take this?”
Next, Zegen will star in the upcoming HBO Max series The Penguin, where he will play the role of Alberto Falcone.
