This article contains spoilers for The Walking Dead: Dead City season 1, episode 2, “Who’s There?”

The second episode of Dead City introduced some natives of New York known as the Tribespeople, who assisted Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan). They are also enemies of The Croat and crew, who go by Burazi, the plural of the Croatian word for brother.  The Tribespeople are small in numbers but big in bravery, and after discovering the truth about why Negan and Maggie are in Manhattan agree to help them.

The Croat’s group captured Perlie Armstrong (Gaius Charles), who was on a mission to capture Negan for crimes against New Babylon but was also searching for a family member who lived in Manhattan. Both of his goals ended on sad notes, his relative was dead, and instead of capturing Negan, he became a captive of The Croat.
