Fear the Walking Dead cast says goodbye to Lennie James

It is always difficult to say goodbye to favorite characters, especially ones who have been with a series since the beginning. Lennie James joined The Walking Dead universe during the first season of the main series and would become the first crossover character within the universe. He joined Fear the Walking Dead during its fourth season, and now James has played Morgan Jones for the final time. His fellow Fear TWD cast mates made an emotion-filled video saying goodbye.
Actor and screenwriter Lennie James is extremely talented and is well known for starring in Les Misérables, Jericho, Snatch, Colombiana, Out of the Blue, Blade Runner 2049, Low Winter Sun, and so much more.
He ended the story of Morgan Jones in The Walking Dead universe during the midseason 8 finale of Fear the Walking Dead titled “All I See is Red.” Below, the cast of Fear TWD says their heartfelt goodbyes to the actor who starred in the series for four seasons.
What’s next for Lennie James?
James’ series Save Me, which he wrote, created, and stars in, currently has two series, the original and Save Me Too. In early 2023 it was announced that a third installment of the series was in production.
He will star in the fourth season of the Disney+ series Genius titled Genius: MLK/X. In this series, he will portray Daddy King, aka Dr. Michael King, who “will explore the formative years, pioneering accomplishments, dueling philosophies and key personal relationships of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X.”
James will also star in an apocalyptic science fiction musical comedy directed and co-written by Joshua Oppenheimer, The End. This film focuses on a wealthy family forced to live in a bunker for two decades after the world collapses, an event they directly contributed to. Filming began in March 2023.
