Actress Alycia Debnam-Carey is known in The Walking Dead universe for portraying Alicia Clark in the spinoff series Fear the Walking Dead. She was introduced in season 1 and saw her story end in season 7. She recently starred in the series Saint X on Hulu and will next star in The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, which will air on Prime Video.
Produced by Amazon Studios, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart is based on a 2018 Australian novel by Holly Ringland. Sarah Lambert adapted the story, and the series is directed by Glendyn Ivin, known for her work on the Netflix movie Penguin Bloom, which stars The Walking Dead actor Andrew Lincoln.

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart will premiere the first three episodes on Prime Video on August 4, 2023. The remaining four episodes will release weekly on Fridays until the season finale on September 1.

What is The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart about?
This series tells the compelling story of Alice, a young girl whose past casts a dark veil over her life as an adult. Orphaned at nine when her parents died in a mysterious fire, she is sent to live with her grandmother, a character played by Weaver, at her flower farm, Thornfield. The story spans decades as Alice learns secrets about her family and grows from that complicated past.

What else does Alycia Debnam-Carey star in?
Fans of Fear the Walking Dead are hopeful to see Debnam-Carey’s Alicia one last time in the series’ final season. In January 2023, AMC announced that the series’ eighth season would be the final. In season 7, Alicia’s mother, Madison (Kim Dickens), returned, but sadly Debnam-Carey’s departure was ahead of this, and there was never the mother/daughter reunion viewers longed for. Part 2 of season 8 of Fear the Walking Dead will premiere in the fall of 2023, and only time will tell if Alicia will appear before the last episode.
You can watch Debnam-Carey in her latest series Saint X which is streaming on Hulu. This series is a psychological drama told across several timelines. It follows the mysterious death of a young woman who is vacationing in the Caribbean with her family. Her death profoundly affects her younger sister, who eventually seeks the truth about her sister’s death.
She will also star in an indie film produced by Colman Domingo (Victor Strand on Fear TWD) and Raúl Domingo’s Edith Productions called It’s What’s Inside. Greg Jardin directed this sci-fi thriller and stars Brittany O’Grady, James Morosini, Gavin Leatherwood, Deven Terrell, Nina Bloomgarden, Reine Hardesty, David W. Thompson, and Madison Davenport.
