The Walking Dead: Dead City Cast Diaries premiere on AMC+ in July

The Walking Dead: Dead City will conclude its first season on Sunday, July 23, with an episode titled  “Doma Smo,” which in Croatian translates to “We are home.” AMC hasn’t announced a second season, but reports have circulated that the series will continue. Ahead of the season finale, AMC+ will air a special The Walking Dead: Dead City Cast Diaries.

According to AMC, Dead City Cast Diaries will be available exclusively on AMC+ on July 20. Dive deeper into the latest series in The Walking Dead universe with these special bonus episodes featuring exclusive interviews with cast and creators sharing behind-the-scenes stories. There has been no announcement regarding how many episodes the cast diaries contain.

Dead City continues stories of fan-favorite characters Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). The series finds them traveling to post-apocalyptic Manhattan to rescue Maggie’s son Hershel (Logan Kim).

The Walking Dead: Dead City Cast Diaries

The Dead City Cast Diaries series is now available on AMC+ and features full length episodes with behind the scenes commentary throughout. Features in the commentary segments are members of the cast and showrunner Eli Jorne.

Specials similar to Dead City Cast Diaries have aired, including a “Best of” segment featuring Maggie, Negan, Daryl, Carol, and Morgan.

AMC also created The Walking Dead: World Beyond Episode Diaries, which features commentary like the Dead City Dairies. 

AMC+ Fan Experience is another special feature that shows New York Comic Con’s 2020 panels for The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, and The Walking Dead: World Beyond. 

Generation Dead: The Walking Dead Fan Documentary follows a father and son whose love of TWD fandom has brought them closer to one another. This special also features many fans who express their deep connections with the characters in the series.

All of these are available via AMC’s subscription service, AMC+.
