Fear the Walking Dead season 8 part two release date

AMC has officially announced the premiere date for the next spinoff series, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. On Sept. 10, 2023, AMC will debut this new series which focuses on Daryl Dixon’s overseas voyage to France. The other news fans are waiting for is the date for the season 8 midseason premiere of Fear the Walking Dead. 

This series was the first spinoff, and in January 2023, AMC announced that the eighth season would be the last one of Fear the Walking Dead. In May 2023, the first six episodes began airing, and now fans are anxious to see what’s to come in the final six.

Part 1 of season 8 of Fear the Walking Dead heavily focused on PADRE and Morgan Jones (Lennie James). This segment of episodes would end with James’ last episode of the series, which he had starred in since season 4. Morgan is a crossover character who was previously seen in The Walking Dead. This was a difficult moment for some viewers as he was one of the first characters introduced in the pilot episode of the main series.

Fear the Walking Dead season 8 part 2

Several media outlets report that Fear the Walking Dead season 8 part 2 will premiere on October 22 at 9 p.m. ET. This seems accurate as the Daryl Dixon series begins on Sept. 10 and will have its season finale on Oct. 15, with Fear TWD premiering the following week.

Fans expect much from the final six episodes of Fear the Walking Dead. Many characters have yet to be seen this season, but from the trailer, they will be featured before the series concludes.

Season 7 was met with less than favorable reviews, but the first part of season 8 has been much better. Hopefully, the creators can kick things up for the final episodes.

Fear the Walking Dead will begin airing new episodes on AMC and AMC+ on Oct. 22, 2023, at 9 p.m. ET.
