THE WALKING DEAD NEWS: Daryl Dixon & Fear TWD release dates

AMC treated fans to two significant updates this week. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon and season 8 part 2 of Fear the Walking Dead set fall release dates. This week AMC will air the penultimate episode of The Walking Dead: Dead City. 

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is an upcoming spinoff in TWDU, which sees Norman Reedus reprise his role as the crossbow-shooting Daryl. In a recent trailer with narration from Daryl, viewers discover that he went looking for something and found trouble. This trouble finds him washing ashore in France without remembering how or why he got there. Daryl Dixon will premiere on AMC and AMC+ on Sept. 10, 2023, at 9 p.m. ET.

Fans of Fear the Walking Dead patiently await the final six episodes to conclude this series. The eighth season is the last, and seeing how the creators wrap up this story will be interesting. Fear the Walking Dead will premiere the season 8 midseason premiere on AMC and AMC+ on Oct. 22, 2023.

The Walking Dead news this week, July 15

Walking Dead actress Medina Senghore, who played Annie in season 11, is starring in a new movie. Titled Murder City, the film airs on the free streaming service TUBI. The movie also stars Mike Colter,  Stephanie Sigman, Antonio Fargas, James Udom, Jesse Garcia, Rhys Coiro, Cedric Joe, Jonathan Stanley, Keyon Bowman, and Georgia Clark.

The Emmy nominations have been announced, and several Walking Dead cast members received nominations. Jon Bernthal, Steven Yeun, Tyler James Williams, and Merritt Wever all received nominations for 2023. 

Garret Dillahunt, who played John Dorie on Fear the Walking Dead, has a new movie that is currently streaming. Grey Matter is a sci-fi drama streaming on Max.
