The Walking Dead: Dead City cast members from the spinoff series

The Walking Dead: Dead City is the fourth spinoff of The Walking Dead series set in post-apocalyptic Manhattan. This series premiered as the most-watched series debut of 2023 and saw huge numbers on AMC+ viewing. While the focus of this series is on fan-favorite characters from The Walking Dead, many new characters have joined TWD Family by starring in this series. Who are the cast members of Dead City?

Dead City continues the stories of Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), two characters who starred in the main series for years. This show picks up a few years after the events of The Walking Dead’s series finale that aired in November 2022.

Maggie appears to have hardened over the years as she experienced another loss of Hilltop, which was too damaged to be repaired. Maggie, her son Hershel (Logan Kim), and the other Hilltop residents relocated to a new location, The Bricks, in the New Jersey/New York area. When her son was abducted by a man named The Croat (Željko Ivanek), who had ties to Negan during his years as leader of the Saviors, she sought Negan out to help rescue him.

Negan has also experienced a lot since viewers last saw him. He had taken on the care of a young girl, Ginny (Mahina Napoleon), who was traumatized by the loss of her father. He is also a wanted man for the murder of five men from New Babylon. His wife Annie (Medina Senghore) and son Joshua, were moved to Missouri to avoid being on the run with Negan.

Dead City has introduced many new characters, The Croat, as the villain, Marshal Perlie Armstrong (Gaius Charles), who leads the manhunt for Negan, and the Tribespeople, a group of native New Yorkers who are trying their best to survive. The Croat’s goons are called the Buraz, brother in Croatian, and resident of New Babylon, a federation of city-states of survivors.
