Perhaps I am the only one unaware of this, but singer and actress Demi Lovato is a huge Walking Dead fan. She even attended the final episode viewing in November 2022. She is such a fan that she purchased the highest-selling item at the Goldin Auctions 2022 AMC’s The Walking Dead Auction.
She purchased Negan’s (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) Lucille from season 7, episode 8, “Hearts Still Beating.” In this episode, Rosita (Christian Serratos) fires a gun at Negan, and the bullet instead embeds into Lucille.
This Lucille was a Hero prop and is the “as real as it gets” version made of wood wrapped with plastic barbed wire and still contains the embedded bullet. The bat is 34 inches long, marked with a “4” on the bottom to signify its inches past 30. Lucille also came with a LOA from AMC. The final sale price of the prop was $51,600.
The video below was created by Goldin, advertising the Lucille, which was up for auction.
After winning the prop on the auctions. Lovato shared her success with much excitement on social media. The fan account Portal Lovato would then share the post on Twitter.
Translated: Apparently, the bat “Lucille” that Demi Lovato acquired after the end of The Walking Dead is the original piece used by the character Negan in the series. The item was up for auction and sold for $51,600.

Lovato attended The Walking Dead Live: The Finale Event at The Orpheum Theatre on November 20, 2022 in Los Angeles, California.
She shared images with her boyfriend, Jutes (Jordan Lutes), singer of Melon Cake, who attended the event with her. She captioned the post, “Swipe left so see how hot my boyfriend is.”
In Sept. 2022, on her 24th birthday, Lovato received a happy birthday video message from TWD actors Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus, which was shared on her Snapchat.
“I just got the best birthday video sent from the cast of The Walking Dead, and I’m shitting my pants,” she wrote on Twitter.
Lovato’s auction win makes her the envy of many Walking Dead fans.
