Showrunner Eli Jorné, pictured to the right with Cohan, began his work in The Walking Dead universe as a writer during season 10 of the main series. He wrote or co-wrote three episodes of that season, “What It Always Is,” “Walk With Us,” and “A Certain Doom.” He would later be announced as the co-creator and showrunner of Dead City, and he wrote four of the six episodes of this series. He also served as executive producer with Cohan, Morgan, Brian Bockrath, Scott M. Gimple, Gale Anne Hurd, and Robert Kirkman.

Mahina Napoleon, pictured left, portrayed Ginny in Dead City, and she did a fantastic job conveying her emotions without uttering a word. After experiencing the trauma of losing her father and finding him reanimated, she hadn’t spoken a word since.

She would be taken care of by Negan, who, in the season finale, revealed he was the one who killed her father. This will be something Ginny deals with in season 2.

The BTS image above is from the season finale of Dead City during the long-coming fight between Maggie and Negan. This image was a different view than what was shown in the episode and is an excellent shot of the walkers in the scene.

While Dead City’s tone is serious, with lots of action and fight scenes, it is fun to see all the smiling faces behind the scenes and another excellent action shot.
