Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, bad decisions led him to France, new video
By Renee Hansen
AMC will debut the highly anticipated spinoff, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, in a few short weeks. This series is a direct spinoff of The Walking Dead featuring Daryl Dixon. He will find himself washed ashore in France as he begins his journey home. The newest clip from the series reveals that bad decisions lead him to France.
The clip (below) opens with dialogue from Isabelle (Clémence Poésy), a nun he encounters in an Abby. She asks, “How did you come to be in France?” Daryl replies, “A bunch of bad decisions.”
The full-length trailer for the series, introduced at SDCC 2023, also offers up this information and gives much more insight into what Daryl encounters in this new land.
Isabelle goes on to say that perhaps they are the same, broken until the world ended. The words on the screen say: Daryl’s epic journey is paved with redemption and… the dead, as the clip shows shots of other characters from the series.
Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi) is the young boy Daryl will accompany to a location where he will fulfill his destiny that the nuns believe will lead the revival of humanity.
Codron (Romain Levi) is the second in command of The Cause, a political movement that wants Daryl dead.
Fallou ( Eriq Ebouaney), little is known about this character but he appears to be friendly with Daryl, at least in this clip.
Viewers also see a walker dressed in military fatigues with a metal face plate and a dart in its neck.
