Watch Norman Reedus as honorary pace driver at Talladega in 2019
By Renee Hansen
AMC will premiere season 6 of Ride with Norman Reedus on September 10 at 10 p.m. ET. This season’s debut will immediately follow the first episode of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. Norman Reedus is the star of both of these series and The Walking Dead recently posted a throwback video of the actor from 2019, where he served as Honorary Pace Car Driver at Talladega.
On April 28, 2019, Reedus and his Walking Dead co-star Josh McDermitt (Eugene on TWD) attended the GEICO 500 at the Talladega Superspeedway. This event was special because of Reedus’ participation and Talladega was celebrating its 50th year with the GIECO 500 as the 100th race.
Below you can see Reedus and McDermitt and their experience at the event.
