Watch Walking Dead’s Tovah Feldshuh in Harlan Coben’s Shelter

Harlan Coben’s latest series, Shelter, is available on Prime Video. Walking Dead actress Tovah Feldshuh stars in the series. Feldshuh is known for numerous roles throughout her career, one of which is that of Deanna Monroe, leader of Alexandria, in seasons 5 and 6 of The Walking Dead.
Shelter is an Amazon original series based on Coben’s 2011 Mickey Bolitar young adult book series. Mickey is the nephew of Myron Bolitar, a famous protagonist of Coben’s books. The episodes of Shelter feature multiple directors, including two by Deborah Kampmeier. She also directed the final episode of Tales of the Walking Dead spinoff, “La Doña.”
The book follows Mickey when he begins his new life in Kasselton, New Jersey, after the sudden death of his father. When another new student, Ashley, comes up missing, Mickey becomes involved in the search. Receiving no assistance from the teachers or school administration, Mickey enlists the help of two students, Ema and Aurthur, known as Spoon, to his friends. This leads the teens to discover a dark underwood in their quiet suburban neighborhood.
The series stars Jaden Michael and Mickey, Adrian Greensmith as Arthur “Spoon” Spindell, and Abby Corrigan as Ema. They are joined by Constance Zimmer, Sage Linder, Brian Altemus, and Feldshuh as Bat Lady, a recluse who gives Mickey a piece of disturbing news.
Prime Video released the first three episodes of Shelter on August 18, with the remaining airing weekly through September 22, when the season finale airs.

What else does Tovah Feldshuh star in?
Feldshuh has starred in many roles during her career. Some early ones include Brewster’s Millions, Silver Bullet, The Love Boat, As the World Turns, and several episodes of the original Law & Order series as Defense Attorney Danielle Melnick.
More recently, she starred in Salvation, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Come Fine Me, Bleecker, Armageddon Time, and voiced Aunt Z in the Star Wars Resistance series.
She has several upcoming roles in drama projects, such as Start Without Me, Rhetoric, and A Girl Like Him.
Another noteworthy role was that of Mrs. Brice in the Broadway production of Funny Girl in 2022, opposite Lea Michele’s Fanny Brice.
