Max streaming Fear the Walking Dead & AMC titles in new partnership

Fear the Walking Dead has recently become a series without a home. After being featured on Hulu for several years, the series was pulled from the streamer’s catalog and only available with an AMC+ subscription. Variety reports that AMC Networks has partnered with Max to offer several AMC titles from September 1 – October 31.

In a “pop-up” programming promotion, Max will team up with AMC Networks to offer several popular titles on the streamer. Seven of AMC’s original series will be included for a total of 200 episodes.

AMC original series on Max September 1 – October 31, 2023

  • Fear the Walking Dead seasons 1-7
  • Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire season 1
  • Dark Winds season 1
  • Gangs of London seasons 1-2
  • Ride With Norman Reedus seasons 1-5
  • A Discovery of Witches seasons 1-3
  • Killing Eve seasons 1-4)

The AMC+ Picks on Max will feature a branded menu on Max’s ad-free and ad-supported subscriptions.

Fear the Walking Dead season 8

AMC began airing the final season of Fear the Walking Dead in May, and the series will return for the last six episodes on AMC starting October 22. So, don’t expect to see any episodes from season 8 of Fear TWD added during the special AMC and Max partnership.

The final episodes of Fear TWD will conclude the series’ story, which began airing in 2015. Fear TWD was the first spinoff of The Walking Dead, which paved the way for many more spinoffs to come.

Ride with Norman Reedus

The sixth season of the travel series hosted by Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus, Ride with Norman Reedus, will premiere on AMC on September 10. The new season could possibly be added to the Max list of titles, but it is doubtful.

Ride follows Reedus and a special guest to outstanding locations worldwide to ride their bikes through breathtaking locations while experiencing local culture. Season 6 guests include Keanu Reeves, Josh Halloway, Johnny Knoxville, and Ari Law.
