Norman Reedus shares esteem for series & union, while stuck in storm

Norman Reedus is well known for his fondness for motorcycles. He even hosts a travel series, Ride with Norman Reedus, which highlights his love of bikes while he travels with a special guest to extraordinary locations worldwide. Today, on the day of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon and the season 6 premiere of Ride, Reedus finds himself stuck in a thunderstorm on the Appalachian Trail.
Many cast members have taken to Instagram to celebrate the debut of the fifth Walking Dead spinoff, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, on September 10 on AMC+ and AMC. The cast is permitted to promote the series because of the agreement AMC Networks has in place with SAG/AFTRA regarding the production of Daryl Dixon, The Ones Who Live, and Interview with a Vampire.
Reedus has also posted from “the Appalachian trail at the moment somewhere in the mountains.” He shared a reel of images from the set, BTS, his daughter joining him on set, cast members, and a selfie on his bike from the Appalachian Trail.
His post reflects his respect for the union, the strikes, and the fact that AMC has agreed to the union’s terms. He also thanks everyone involved in the Daryl Dixon series and the fans for watching the series.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 1 – starring Norman Reedus
The first season of Daryl Dixon consists of six episodes, with the first one having a run time of just under one hour; that is the actual episode, not including commercials if you view on AMC.
The series has been renewed for a second season, and filming has resumed due to the AMC agreement.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will air episodes each Sunday through October 15 on AMC+, beginning at 3 a.m. ET and on AMC at 9 p.m. ET.
