Walking Dead’s Ryan Hurst Desperation Road in theaters and VOD

Actor Ryan Hurst is best known for his roles as Harry ‘Opie’ Winston on Sons of Anarchy and Beta, aka Half Moon, on The Walking Dead. He has starred in many other roles during his career, and next, he will star in Desperation Road.
The action thriller was written by Michael Farris Smith based on his same-titled novel. Nadine Crocker serves as director in her second film. Crocker, Smith, Cassian Elwes, and Walter Josten are the film’s producers.
The gritty story follows a former convict, Russell Gaines, who is trying to rebuild his life after being released from prison. He turns to his father for help in rebuilding his life. When Maben enters his life, things take a turn, and they find themselves on the run. They must rely on each other for their survival.
Desperation Road release date
Lionsgate will release Desperation Road in theaters and on-demand on October 6, 2023.

To promote the film, Hurst shared on social media that the producers, Nadine Crocker and Cassian Elwes secured an interm agreement with SAG so the cast and crew are able to support their film.
