Fear the Walking Dead will premiere the second half of its final season on October 22. The last six episodes will reintroduce Troy Otto (Daniel Sharman) to the storyline, and more of our survivors who weren’t seen in the first half of the season will be featured. AMC has released new images for the upcoming episodes, which give a little insight into what’s to come.
AMC and AMC+ will premiere Fear the Walking Dead’s first episode of season 8, part 2, “Anton,” directed by actress Danay Garcia. She is well known for her portrayal of Luciana, who, with Victor Strand (Colman Domingo), will return for the last six episodes as they were absent during the first half of the season.
The trailer for the upcoming episodes revealed that the first episode’s title is Strand’s new name. What is up to this time? Tune in to find out.
Tensions will be high with the return of Troy as he is out to get revenge on Madison (Kim Dickens) for leaving him for dead in the flood waters of the Gonzalez Dam in season 3. Now, he has returned and wants to locate PADRE, as plenty of resources are there to keep him and his group alive.
Fear the Walking Dead midseason premiere
“Anton” marks the final midseason premiere for the series that began airing on AMC in 2015. Like any long-running series, Fear TWD has had its ups and downs. The first two episodes of season 8, part 2, are well done, and as absurd as it was thought to be, Troy’s return actually adds a much-needed element to the storyline. Sharman is a great actor and fits the villain role quite nicely.
Below are the new promo images for the final episodes of Fear the Walking Dead. Don’t miss the midseason premiere on Sunday, October 22, on AMC and AMC+ at 9 p.m. ET.
