The Walking Dead Universe has been delivering many spin-offs for fans to dig into and enjoy. The most recent spin-off, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, reached a cliffhanger ending for its first season. On October 22, fans can enjoy the final episodes of Fear The Walking Dead before concluding after an eight-year run.
As confirmed in recent weeks, the highly anticipated Rick and Michonne spin-off The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live will be coming to AMC and AMC+ in February 2024. Details of how to watch elsewhere are yet to be confirmed. However, if it follows the same path as Dead City and Daryl Dixon, unfortunately, it won’t be available on a platform for viewers who can’t access AMC+.
The Walking Dead flagship series will always be one of the greatest shows. Due to the incredible writing and characters brought to our screens. One of these characters was the brilliant King Ezekiel, played by Khary Payton, known amongst the TWDU family for being one of the kindest and funniest actors to meet. And fans in the UK will be lucky to have that opportunity next weekend at MCM Comic Con London!
Walking Dead actor Khary Payton (King Ezekiel) to attend UK Convention
Any occasion that members of the TWD cast attend public events is exciting for fans. And that is no exception for MCM Comic Con London at the Excel Centre on October 27-29, and tickets are still available. The convention will open 2 hours earlier each day for priority ticket holders. Perfect for browsing without crowds.
But above browsing for merchandise is the opportunity to meet the man behind King Ezekiel! Khary Payton made his TWD debut during 702 “The Well,” where we first meet him, Jerry (Cooper Andrews), and his beloved Kingdom. And let’s not forget his gorgeous pet tiger, Shiva.
Alongside TWD, Payton has a wealth of other credits like blockbuster hit The Super Mario Bros Movie and the animated Teen Titans Go! Franchise. Alongside autographs and photo ops, a panel putting him in the spotlight has been scheduled for Friday, October 27, at 3:15 p.m. on the live stage for 45 minutes, allowing fans to see him talk about his career and answer some questions. This panel is also BSL-interpreted.
Payton will appear across all three days, allowing more fans an opportunity to stop by his booth and say hello. And if you do manage to make it down for the convention, it will be a lot of fun. Even if you can’t make it down this time, remember, “And yet… we smile!”
