Gotham Awards
The Gotham Independent Film Awards are presented by the Gotham Film & Media Institute on November 27, 2023, at the Cipriani Club in New York City.
This year, the organization removed the previous budget cap of $35 million for a film’s budget to be considered. This opened the pool of submissions to “include more voices from around the globe by expanding eligibility for the many brilliant international films and filmmakers who deserve to be in consideration this year,” according to the executive director of Gotham Film & Media Institute, Jeffrey Sharp.
