Australian Vogue reports that Fear the Walking Dead actress Alycia Debnam-Carey has become the first-ever Australian ambassador for Dior. Debnam-Carey is a big fan of the brand, and she and Dior have partnered in the past, making the ambassadorship a natural next step.
Debnam-Carey has stated that she loves the Dior brand and its representation of women. She loves the femininity and elegance while also being fond of the rich history Christian Dior has brought to the fashion world.
In the interview with Australian Vogue, Debnam-Carey was asked how the partnership came about. She stated it was perfect timing.
"“Honestly, I think it all came down to perfect timing. I have always loved Dior as a brand and luckily they were aware of my work. Then on a trip to Australia I was able to meet the team at the new boutique opening in Sydney and it blossomed from there. It became a very effortless and beautiful partnership.”"
