Undead Walking previously reported that Walking Dead actress Margot Bingham stars in the newest series from Taylor Sheridan, Lawmen: Bass Reeves. She made her appearance in the first episode, and by the fourth episode, another familiar face appeared: Walking Dead actor Chris Coy.

In season 5 of The Walking Dead, Coy portrayed Martin, a member of Terminus. He was the one who threatened to kill Baby Judith after being captured by Carol (Melissa McBride) and Tyreese (Chad L. Coleman).

He was a horrible individual who would meet his demise at Father Gabriel’s (Seth Gilliam) church during the same altercation that Rick (Andrew Lincoln) fulfilled his promise to Gareth (Andrew J. West).

It is done in true Sheridan form, telling a compelling story featuring characters that viewers are eager to learn more about. The five-part season is based on The Bass Reeves trilogy of novels written by Sidney Thompson.

Lawmen: Bass Reeves airs on Paramount+ with new episodes weekly.
