Female-founded and women-run, LuxAnthropy, LLC. is an online platform offering movie fashions to the masses in an effort to repurpose items, extend their lifecycle, reduce waste, and contribute to a more sustainable fashion industry. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of items sourced from Hollywood studios, celebrities, stylists, and influencers support over 25 charitable organizations.
AMC Networks Teams with LuxAnthropy.com have launched the exclusive sale of authentic Walker Costumes from the hit series The Walking Dead. Check out all the listings on LuxAnthropy.com.
The costumes are limited-edition authentic walker costumes featured in The Walking Dead series that come with an Authentication Certificate. Each listing provides in-depth details about the costumes, including size details and more. The sale began with 30 items, and several have already been sold. Some of the items also include the walker's name, so you are able to pair the costume with the specific walker from the series. Names include Frosty Walker, Woods Walker, Metal Head Walker, and more.
The costumes, crafted by the series' costume crew, are offered in two, three, or four-piece sets in men's and women's sizes. Each piece has been custom-aged, distressed, painted, and given a lived-in look to reflect the series' post-apocalyptic theme.
“Fans have always been at the heart of the Walking Dead Universe and giving them another exciting opportunity to connect with the show they love is always special,” said Jennifer McCue, SVP of Studio Operations for AMC Networks. “We’re thrilled to be working alongside LuxAnthropy.com to make this sale possible for the fans, while also supporting the important work of World Central Kitchen. ”
“We are thrilled to partner with AMC Networks and bring these exclusive costumes to fans, especially as Halloween approaches,” said Jennifer Hillman, Co-Founder at LuxAnthropy. “Not only do these costumes allow fans to celebrate their love for the series, but every purchase supports the incredible work of World Central Kitchen, making this a simple yet impactful way to give back.”
