The Walking Dead series is based on the comic by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. This comic story was then adapted into the series, which premiered on AMC on Halloween night 2010. The series ran for 11 seasons and paved the way for a long list of spinoffs to follow, with more on the way. Fear the Walking Dead was the first spinoff set in the same world but began its story in Los Angeles at the onset of the outbreak. Since then, several more spinoffs have been released, The Walking Dead: World Beyond and Tales of the Walking Dead, with three direct spinoffs, The Walking Dead: Dead City, Daryl Dixon, and The Ones Who Live.

The eleven seasons of The Walking Dead can be streamed on Netflix, along with all eight seasons of Fear the Walking Dead and the first season of Daryl Dixon. The other series can be viewed on AMC Networks streaming service AMC+.
