Norman Reedus & cast of Ballerina in behind the scenes featurette about the new movie in the world of John Wick

Walking Dead's Daryl Dixon will join the world of John Wick in the highly anticipated spinoff movie From the World of John Wick: Ballerina or simply Ballerina. Actor Norman Reedus will appear in the movie, and a recent behind-the-scenes video shows Reedus and other cast members discussing the film.
The featurette for Ballerina (below) was unveiled by Lionsgate at Comic-Con Brazil and features an in-depth look at Ana De Armas' Ava. According to Deadline, the video, a pre-recorded message was introduced by Keanu Reeves, who plays the titular character in John Wick World, and director Chad Stahelski. The footage shows impressive BTS action-packed clips.
Reedus has been cast in the movie as a mysterious man named Daniel Pine. In an interview with Collider, the actor expressed deep admiration for Reeves and shared insight into the physical demands of filming an action movie.
"I know Keanu, and my hat's off to him because it's a very physical, full-on, I-need-a-bottle-of-Advil-all-day-long type of job. But it's fun. It's super fun. The choreography is tight, tight, tight. In Daryl Dixon, it's a loose fight. It's a sloppy fight. There are no sloppy fights in that."
Ballerina will premiere in theaters on June 6, 2025, and is set between John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4. In addition to Reedus, de Armas, and Reeves, the movie will see the return of Ian McShane, Anjelica Huston, and the late Lance Riddick. Newly cast actors for the franchise include Gabriel Byrne, Cataline Sandino Moreno, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, and David Castañeda.
Norman Reedus - recent and upcoming roles
Reedus continues to portray Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon spinoff. The series will premiere its third season on AMC and AMC+ in 2025. He will reprise his role as Murphy MacManus in the third installment of The Boondock Saints series of films.
His most recent role is that of Funny Sonny in The Bikeriders, which also stars Jodie Comer, Austin Butler, and Tom Hardy. Reedus looks quite different in this role, complete with artificial dentures. The film was written and directed by Jeff Nichols and has been praised for its authentic look at motorcycle culture.
Reedus will also star in an a new psychological drama, The Housewife, which is based on a true story. He was cast alongside Naomi Watts, Tye Sheridan, and Michael Imperioli in a story set in 1964 following a New York Journalist investigating what he believes is a Nazi officer living in Queens.
