Variety reports that Daryl Dixon actor Norman Reedus has been cast alongside Naomi Watts, Tye Sheridan, and Michael Imperioli in a psychological drama directed by Ben Shirinian in his feature directorial debut.
The film is based on a true story that follows a New York Times journalist (Sheridan) who investigates what could be a Nazi officer secretly living in Queens in 1964. He befriends the man's elegant and charming wife (Watts), "the implications of his investigation become much more unsettling."
The script was written by Alyssa Hill, an executive producer, with Robbie Brenner, Kevin McKeon, and Lee Broda producing. According to Variety, principal photography for the film will begin in June, and Neon International will kick off foreign sales at the European Film Market in Berlin this month, which runs from Feb. 15 to 21.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon's second season will likely be released in the fall of 2024 and has been subtitled The Book of Carol, which will see the return of Melissa McBride to The Walking Dead universe.
Reedus will also star in The Bikeriders, which will be released on June 21, 2024. This movie follows a Midwestern motorcycle club, which begins as a hangout and becomes a sinister gang. The movie also stars Jodie Comer, Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, Michael Shannon, Boyd Holbrook, Mike Faist, Damon Herriman, Emory Cohen, Happy Anderson, and Toby Wallace.
He will also star in the first spinoff in the John Wick franchise, Ballerina, starring Ana de Armas that will be relesed on June 7, 2024.
