Alicia Witt is an actress and singer-songwriter who portrayed Paula in The Walking Dead series. She is well known for many roles during her career and will next star in the upcoming horror thriller from Neon, Longlegs.

Written and directed by actor, screenwriter, and director Oz Perkins, son of Anthony Perkins, who is known for his work in I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House (2016) and Gretel & Hansel (2020). Nic Cage stars and produces with Dan Kagan, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Dave Caplan, and Chris Ferguson.

Witt was announced with Blair Underwood, who joined the previously announced Cage, and Maika Monroe. Cage is an elusive serial killer whose crimes are assigned to FBI newb Lee Harken (Monroe).

Neon has released a series of three creeptastic teasers for the film. The first is titled "Every year there is another," the second, "It's my daughter," and the third, "That's not my daughter." Each teaser showcases symbols that mean nothing to the viewer yet but may become clear as more details are released.

While the teaser doesn't give a lot of details, it is clear that this will be an amazing horror, and with all the fanfare Neon is giving to the film, it is bound to be something truly remarkable. Be on alert for a full-length trailer that is bound to be coming soon with a possible release date as well. IMDB currently states July 14, 2024, as the release date, but the platform has been wrong before.

Longlegs synopsis:

"“FBI Agent Lee Harker (Maika Monroe) is a gifted new recruit assigned to the unsolved case of an elusive serial killer (Nic Cage). As the case takes complex turns, unearthing evidence of the occult, Harker discovers a personal connection to the merciless killer and must race against time to stop him before he claims the lives of another innocent family.”"
