It's time to get spooky with Netflix & Chills 2024 lineup of movies and shows
By Renee Hansen
For many, the spooky season begins on September 1. Halloween decorating begins, and horror movies and shows begin airing on many outlets, including Netflix, during the Netflix & Chills campaign. This year, the streamer has a fantastic list of new and old thrillers, horrors, and Halloween-themed titles.
Fan favorite Netflix originals like Stranger Things, the Fear Street Trilogy of films, and Wednesday are always just a click away. As are Mike Flanagan's long list of Netflix offerings, including The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass. Netflix & Chills takes things a step further, releasing a whole new batch of horror-related titles.
On Oct. 1, Netflix will release John Carpenter's original Halloween movie, which sets up Michael Myers's long reign of terror. As one of the quintessential slashers, this movie reminds us of all the great slashers available on the streamer. Don't miss the anthology series Slasher and slasher movies, Thanksgiving, Pearl, Jigsaw, Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022), The Babysitter Killer Queen and its sequel, and more.
