Fans of Jeffrey Dean Morgan are anxious to see him in season 2 of The Walking Dead: Dead City, which is currently filming. Before that, Morgan will be featured in the fourth season of Prime Video's Emmy-winning drama The Boys, which debuts its first three episodes on June 13, 2024.

Morgan has been cast in an undisclosed role, which fans of The Boy comic, created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, have speculated to be Joe Kessler, also known as Monkey. This hasn't been confirmed by Morgan or the show's creator, Erik Kripke. In the comics, Kessler is a CIA analyst who works for the government. It will be exciting to see which character Morgan plays in the series.

He was first seen in the teaser trailer released in December 2023, where, again, he converses with the Butcher (Karl Urban) where he asks Billy his team's code name, to which he replies, The Boys. Morgan's comback? . “Who came up with that s**t?”

In the official trailer for season 4 of The Boys (below), Morgan continues his conversation with Butcher, where it seems that whoever he works for wants the supes wiped out for good.

"The whole world is about to burn. We need someone like you, Billy. Before the supes start rounin' us up and dumpin' us off in camps. "
