Spinoffs are a common occurrence in The Walking Dead universe, but what makes the newest series extra special is the return of the powerhouse couple, Rick and Michonne. Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira return to TWDU in a reprisal of their roles as Rick and Michonne, and we have all the details of the premiere episode and more.
The Ones Who Live is the sixth spinoff in the universe and the third, which focuses on main characters previously featured in the main series. Rick and Michonne were parted in season 9 when Rick was thought to have perished in a bridge explosion. Unknown to Michonne and the others, he was saved by Jadis (Pollyanna McIntosh), who also returns in TOWL and was whisked away to the Civic Republic Military (CRM). When Michonne discovered clues that he survived, nothing could stop her from searching for her true love.
