Tales of the Walking Dead actress Parker Posey lands new role in White Lotus season 3

Parker Posey began her acting career in the 1990s with her first feature film role in Dazed and Confused. Once labeled "Queen of the Indies" for her numerous roles in independent productions, Posey also starred in The Walking Dead anthology spinoff Tales of the Walking Dead. Variety reports she will again star in an anthology, joining the third season of HBO's The White Lotus.
Created by writer, actor, and producer Mike White for HBO, The White Lotus is a dark-comedy anthology. Initially intended to be a six-part limited series, the success of the series saw HBO renew for second and third seasons.
The series follows guests and employees of a chain of resorts called The White Lotus. The story follows various guests during their week-long stay as they enjoy relaxation and rejuvenation in paradise. As each day passes, darker elements emerge for the "picture-perfect travelers, the hotel's cheerful employees, and the idyllic locale itself." The first season was set in Maui, with the second in Sicily. Variety reports that the upcoming third season, expected to be released in 2025, will be set in Thailand.
Posey is announced for the upcoming season with Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, and Tayme Thapthimthong. Natasha Rothwell will reprise her role as Belinda for season 3.
What else does Parker Posey star in?
In 2022, Posey would star with Jillian Bell in the second episode, "Blair/Gina," of Tales of the Walking Dead. This anthology series is set within The Walking Dead world, telling new stories and introducing new characters. This episode was a buddy-comedy, reality-twisting, Groundhog Day of sorts, where Posey and Bell are forced to relive events over and over as Atlanta experiences the effects of the undead apocalypse.
Recently, she had a role in the A24 comedy horror Beau Is Afraid with Joaquin Pheonix and is well known for her roles in Scream 3, Superman Returns, Blade: Trinity, Dazed and Confused, You’ve Got Mail, The Return of Jezebel James, and more.
