The Ones Who Live behind the scenes photos that you are going to LOVE!
By Renee Hansen
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live has revitalized the fandom with the return of fan-favorites Rick Grimes and Michonne. Portrayed by Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira, the characters were originally introduced in the main series. Both characters departed the series before the final season, and fans have longed to learn more about them. The six-part season began in February 2024, and the final episode will air on March 31. Below are some great BTS photos.
The "gas man" was an awesome walker featured in episode 2 of the series. He was equipped with fuel cans, and his shirt read, "Gas man, let me help you." Some have suggested this is a nod to Rick's first scene in The Walking Dead, where he is carrying a similar gas can while searching for fuel.
This image featured Lincoln and Gurira during episode 3 while they are pushing the RDIM into place to blow up delts (this series word for the undead). The BTS image shows both in a state of laughter which is always a great sight to behold.
Another photo of the duo having fun on set.
Dressed in full CRM gear, Gurira and Lincoln share a break between filming.
The image below is from the second episode, in which Michonne and Rick share a private moment hidden from the CRM's prying eyes.
Warning: The next two BTS images are bittersweet. These featured Breeda Wool, who played Aiden, Andrew Bachelor, who played Bailey, and Matthew Jeffers, who played Nat. All of these characters sadly died in episode 2, but these images show them having fun despite their characters' endings.
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live airs new episodes weekly on Sunday on AMC and AMC+, with the finale airing on March 31.
