Walking Dead actor Eric Jensen in Off-Broadway production, Vladimir

Walking Dead alum, Erik Jensen recently announced a new project. He will star in an off-Broadway production, Vladimir. This is fabulous news, as in 2023, Jensen was diagnosed with Stage IV colorectal cancer. On August 7, 2024, he posted to Instagram: "They burned out what they think is the last of my cancer today. Here's some music…"
Vladimir is directed by Tony Award-winning Daniel Sullivan and written by Erika Sheffer (Russian Transport). Performances begin Off-Broadway at New York City Center Stage on September 14 with an October 16 opening night.
The story is set in Moscow and follows an independent journalist covering events of Putin's first term. Finding herself on the verge of an explosive story, she must keep her wits and hope alive in hostile circumstances.
Leading the cast is Tony Award-winning Norbert Leo Butz (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Catch Me If You Can) as Sema, Francesca Faridany(The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Macbeth) as Raya, Erik Jensen (The Walking Dead, The Collaboration, Corpus Christi) as Andrei, Olivia Deren Nikkanen (The Little Foxes, Supergirl) as Galina, and Jonathan Walker(The Assembled Parties, Daredevil) as Jim. They are joined by Erin Darke (Good Girl Revolt) as Chovka and David Rosenberg (Bad Jews) as Yevgeny.
Jensen announced his excitement about the production and the ongoing rehearsals with his fellow cast mates.

With close to 100 credits to his name, Jensen has appeared in many notable titles. Recently he appeared in several episodes of ABC's For Life series. He's had roles in The Equalizer, What Breaks the Ice, Modern Love, Mindhunter, and many more.
Many Walking Dead fans remember him for his role as Dr. Steven Edwards of Grady Memorial.
