Walking Dead alum Dallas Roberts list of movies and tv shows

Walking Dead actor Dallas Roberts is currently starring in the second installment of Netflix's Monsters: the Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, which was released this week.

The Menendez Story is a continuation of the Monsters series, in which each season dramatizes a notorious serial killer or crime. The first installment, Monsters: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, saw Evan Peters in a spine-chilling portrayal of Dahmer, a man who, for over a decade, eluded authorities during his killing spree. The third season will focus on Ed Gein, another serial killer who will be played by Sons of Anarchy actor Charlie Hunnam.

The latest installment, Monsters: the Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, which dramatizes the horrific killings of Jose and Kitty Menendez. The Mendedez couple's murders was a high profile case in the 1990s. The killings were eventually discovered to be committed by their sons, Lyle and Erik, who are currently imprisoned for their crimes.

Roberts portrays Dr. Jerome Oziel, a therapist who Erik had sessions with after the murders.

Walking Dead fans remember Roberts as Milton Mamet, resident of Woodbury and trusted ally of the communities' leader the Governor (David Morrissey). He worked as the Governor's researcher, conducting experiences on members of the undead. He quickly saw through the Governor's thinly veiled "good guy" persona and began to rebel. This would lead to a savage beating and eventual death at the hands of the Governor

Some of Roberts' most recent roles include Outpost, a thriller directed by Jo Lo Truglio. The movie also stars Beth Dover, a woman who after experiencing a violent attack, moves to the mountains and works as a lookout ranger whose life is consumed by something darker. Roberts portrays a character named Ranger Dan and is featured in the trailer above. Outpost is streaming on Plex and and Pluto.

In 2022, Roberts starred in Rian Johnson's Glass Onion, the second installment in the Knives Out film series, which features master detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) as he investigates whodunit mysteries. Roberts plays Devon Debella, the husband of Claire (Kathryn Hahn), and the governor of Connecticut, who is running for US Senate.

Roberts and Debby Ryan lead the Netflix original series Insatiable, based on Jeff Chu's article "The Pageant King of Alabama," featured in The New York Times Magazine in 2014. The series is a dark comedy that follows Patty Bladell (Ryan), a high school student who had always been ridiculed for her weight. After a horrific incident, she is forced into a liquid diet, which results in dramatic weight loss. She then partners with disgraced beauty pageant judge Bob Armstrong (Roberts) who finds himself in over his head as Patty will stop at nothing to exact her revange on those who bullied her in the past.

Roberts portrayed Angus Partridge, a main cast member in seasons 3 and 4 of Showtime's groundbreaking series, The L Word. He would return in season 6 as a guest star.

In 2017, he played Lester "The Reaper" McGill in the Steven Yeun and Samara Weaving led movie, Mayhem, which streams on AMC+.

He has also appeared in Big Sky, American Rust, American Crime, and Dolly Parton's Heartstrings. Some of his earlier roles include The Grey, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, 3:10 to Yuma, Dallas Buyers Club, and Walk the Line.
