Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon actor Romain Levi shares BTS image from season 1
By Renee Hansen
Frecnh actor Romain Levi made a great impression during the first season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. He portrayed Stéphane Codron, a member of the Power of the Living movement in France. Recently, Levi posted a great behind-the-scenes image during filming of the first season of the Daryl Dixon spinoff.
Codron is a ruthless man who despite his demeanor, does care about members of his squad. His ruthlessness was showcased as he interrogated and killed a man named Guillaume (Bernard Bloch) in front of his granddaughter, Maribelle (Carmen Kassovitz). He did this to discover the location information about his brother, who was murdered.
He did show a different side when he allowed Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi) to escape. Genet (Anne Charrier), leader of the Power of the Living, ordered Codron to kidnap the young boy. Although he vowed to be true to the movement and Genet, he was unable to take action that would see the boy hurt or worse.
Going against Genet will likely see repercussions during the second season of the series. In his final scene of the season 1 finale, Codron was disarmed and hauled away by two Guerriers, on Genet's orders, who warned him that things would only get more painful.
Despite the tension and action of the series, Levi looks very relaxed during a break in filming of the first season.

The series' second season began filming soon after the first was wrapped. AMC brokered a deal to allow the series to continue filming during the strikes in 2022, so the upcoming season will premiere on AMC and AMC+ in 2024.
The second season marks the return of fan-favorite Melissa McBride, who reprises her role as Carol Peletier. This character's return was teased during the final scene of the season 1 finale.
