Walking Dead: Dead City season 2 filming to start soon, casting in Boston now!
Dead City is a spinoff of The Walking Dead, which features Maggie and Negan, two characters originally introduced in the main series.

According to Kelly Cooper Casting, The Walking Dead: Dead City will begin filming in Boston in April 2024. The casting call for extras was released (you can sign up here) with filming dates extending through July.
Actors of all ages and ethnicities in the Boston area are being sought out to portray walkers, soldiers, post-apocalyptic survivors, and various other extra roles throughout the season. The production also seeks athletes and others with military or law enforcement experience to portray soldiers in the series, capable people with weathered faces for apocalypse survivors, and thin, tall persons with flexible availability to play walkers.
Dead City aired its first six-part season in 2023 to record high viewership numbers during its premiere. Filming for season 1 took place in New Jersey and New York but will move to Boston for its second season.
The series greatly expanded The Walking Dead universe, with the series set in Manhattan and surrounding areas. The story continued the stories of longtime enemies Maggie, portrayed by Lauren Cohan, and Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, approximately 5-7 years after their story ends in The Walking Dead.
Several new characters have been introduced in Dead City whose stories will continue in season 2.
