The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live is the most anticipated spinoff of The Walking Dead universe. This is quite the statement, as The Ones Who Live marks the sixth series to be released after the flagship. This series replaces the trilogy of Rick Grimes movies that were announced after actor Andrew Lincoln announced his departure from The Walking Dead.

On February 7, 2024, AMC held the AMC/AMC+ Presents: The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live Premiere. This star-studded event, held at Linwood Dunn Theater in Hollywood, was the kick-off to the new series that featured an amazing guest list, including many Walking Dead actors.

Returning to TWDU in the new series are Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira who reprise their roles as Rick and Michonne.
